Melbourne Zoo – Lemur Island complete

On December 19th 2013 Lloyd Group successfully delivered the exciting new ‘Lemur Island’ exhibit at Melbourne Zoo.  The new exhibit has been created by Urban Initiatives & Snowdon Architects to house a number of Madagascar Lemurs while providing the opportunity for members of the public to physically walk through the exhibit sharing the space with Lemurs.  The exhibit has been well received by all who have attended and we take this opportunity to thank Zoos Victoria for the opportunity to be involved in such an exciting project.  We also acknowledge the tireless efforts of our project team, Andrew Sale, Julian Ramsey & Carl Suen who each put in an extraordinary effort to successfully deliver a high quality project under significant program constraints.  Following completion the project has since attracted the interest of a number of Architectural design blogs & Architectural magazines as follows:
